南非大学是非洲历史最为悠久、影响最为广泛的开放大学,是世界知名开放大学代表。南非大学在办学定位、功能、组织管理、师生发展、教学科研、学习支持服务、质量保证、战略规划等方面具有一定特色,对我国开放大学的定位职能、改革发展与能力建设有所启示。
Features of the University of South Africa and Its Revelation to the Construction of Open Universities in Chin

Abstract:
The University of South Africa(UNISA)is the oldest and most widely influencing open U-niversity in Africa which is also a representative of world-renowned open universities.UNISA has formed certain good characteristics in its orientation,function,organization management,development of teachers and students,teaching and research,learning support service,quality assurance and strategic planning,which can be helpful to the position and function,reform and development as well as capacity-building of open universities in China.
